Fluticasone (Flovent) (Aerosol Inhaler) : is usually inhaled twice a day. Use exactly as directed.

Fluticasone (Flovent) Rotacaps : Consult your doctor on how to use this medication and use as directed. Rotacaps should be used with a Rotacap Dispenser .

Replace the protective cap after every use.

Tell your doctor if any of these symptoms are severe or do not go away :

Back/Joint Pain
Diarrhea
Difficulty Speaking
Headache
Stuffy Nose

Inform your doctor if you are allergic to the formulation of this medication or any other medication in any other form.

Ketoconazole; Ritonavir

In case of overdose, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911.

Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you have any medical conditions, especially if any of the following apply to you:

if you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant, or are breast-feeding

if you are taking any prescription or nonprescription medicine, herbal preparation, or dietary supplement

if you have allergies to medicines or other substances

if you have active or inactive tuberculosis or a positive skin test for tuberculosis

if you have infections of the respiratory tract, untreated fungal or bacterial infections, parasitic or viral infections, measles, chickenpox, herpes simplex in or around the eye, or recently received a vaccination

if you have diarrhea

if you have glaucoma or cataracts

Do not double doses to make up for a missed dose.

Fluticasone (Flovent) prevents the release of certain substances in the body that cause inflammation.

Fluticasone (Flovent) is used to prevent asthma attacks. This medicine is not a cure.

If you are using any other inhaled medications, ask your doctor or pharmacist whether you should inhale these medications a certain amount of time before or after you use Fluticasone (Flovent) inhalation. Ask your doctor, pharmacist, or respiratory therapist to show you how to use it. Practice using the inhaler while he or she watches.

Store it at room temperature and away from excess heat and moisture.

Do not puncture the canister or dispose in flames.

Carry an idenfication card mentioning your condition, the medicine you take, the dosage and your health care professionals details.

Fluticasone (Flovent) Aerosol Inhaler is for oral inhalation only. Avoid spraying in the eyes.
