How to use
Contact your paediatrician regarding the use of this medicine in children.
Indomethacin(extended release) capsules are usually taken with or immediately after meals.
Consult your prescriber for further information. Take exactly as directed by your prescriber.

If you notice any of the symptoms listed below or any other symptoms which seem severe/persistent contact your doctor immediately.
Appetite Loss
Fever
Hives/Rashes
Nausea
Pain in the upper right area of the stomach
Painful/Bloody Urine
Palpatations
Swelling of body parts
Tiredness
Unexplained weight gain
Vision problems

Drug Interaction
Tell your doctor if you are allergic to the formulation of this medicine or any other medication in any other form. Also inform your prescriber if you are currently taking any medication in any form.

Alcohol
Angiotensin II Receptor Antagonists
Asprin
Beta Blockers
Diuretics
Inform your doctor about any other medication you may be taking in any other form.

Over Dose
In case of overdose, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911.

Notes
Inform your doctor if you have ever had or have the following:
Asthma
Liver Disases
Kidney Diseases
Seizures
Depression
Parkinsons
Nasal Polyps
Important Warning
People taking NSAIDs, maybe at a higher risk of heart strokes or attacks, which may be sudden & could result in death.
Your doctor needs to be in the know if you have a family history of :
Heart/Blood related Disorders/Diseases Diabetes
High cholesterol.
If you are going in for a heart related surgery inform your doctor you are taking Indomethacin.
If you are a smoker or a drinker, your doctor needs to be informed about the same.
Do not take OTC medication without consulting your prescriber first, whilst on a course with this medicine.

Missed Dose
Do not double doses to make up for a missed dose.

Uses
Indomethacin is used to treat mild to moderate pain, osteoarthritis, and rheumatoid arthritis.

Storage
Store at room temperature below 30 degrees C / 86 degrees F.

Precaution
Inform your doctor if you are going in for surgery of any kind or have recently had one.
Avoid alcohol, as this may add to the drowsiness caused by this medication.
Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breast feeding.
If you are scheduled for any kind of laboratory test, inform your doctor that you are taking this medication.
