How to use
Capsule :Piroxicam (feldene) comes as a capsule to take by mouth, can be taken with or without food. Take Piroxicam (feldene) exactly as directed.
Mouth Dissolving Tablets : Consult your doctor for exact dosages and take as directed. Place the tablet under the tongue and let it dissolve. Do not swallow.
Consult a pediatrician for use of this medicine in children.

Side Effects
Tell your doctor if any of these symptoms are severe or do not go away:
Black/Tarry Stools
Bloody Diarrhea
Constipation
Diarrhea
Dizziness
Gas
Headache
Itching
Nervousness
Ringing in the ears
Skin Rash
Stomach Pain/Cramps
Swelling of any body parts

Alcohol
Aspirin-like Medicines
Blood Thinners
Cidofovir
Cyclosporine
Diuretics
Entecavir
Herbal Products
High Blood Pressure Medicine
Methotrexate
NSAIDs
Pemetrexed
Platlet affecting medicine

Over Dose
In case of overdose, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222.
If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911

Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant, or are breast-feeding.
Inform your doctor if you concieve while taking Piroxicam (feldene).
If you are having surgery, inform your doctor that you are taking Piroxicam (feldene).
Do not drink alcohol while taking Piroxicam (feldene).

Missed Dose
Do not take a double doses to make up for a missed one.

Uses
Piroxicam (feldene) is used to relieve the pain, tenderness, inflammation, & stiffness caused by arthritis.

Storage
Store at room temperature between 15-30 degrees C, away from heat and moisture.

Precaution
Serious stomach ulcers or bleeding can occur with the use of Piroxicam (feldene). Taking it in high doses or for a long time, smoking, or drinking alcohol increases the risk of these side effects.
Do not take aspirin while you are using Piroxicam (feldene) unless your doctor tells you to.
