How to use
Swallow Flurbiprofen (Ansaid) tablets whole with a full glass of water, with or without food.
Consult your health care professional and take exactly as directed.

Sideeffects
Report to your prescriber or health care professional as soon as possible if you notice any of the below symptoms:
black, tarry stools
blood in urine
change in the amount of urine passed
confusion
dark yellow or brown urine
difficulty breathing
pain on swallowing
skin rash, redness, blistering, peeling or itching
stomach pain or cramps
swelling of eyelids, throat, or lips
symptoms of bronchitis or other respiratory infection
unusual bleeding or bruising
unusual tiredness or weakness

Interaction
water pills (diuretics)
pemetrexed
other antiinflammatory drugs (such as ibuprofen or prednisone)
methotrexate
medicines that treat or prevent blood clots such as warfarin and other 'blood thinners'
medicines that affect platelets
medicines for high blood pressure
lithium
herbal products that contain feverfew, garlic, ginger, or ginkgo biloba
entecavir
cyclosporine
cidofovir
aspirin and aspirin-like medicines
alendronate
alcohol

Overdose
In case of overdose, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222.
If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911.

Notes
Do not take Flurbiprofen (Ansaid) with other pain-killers or antiinflammatory drugs without advice.
you have had a severe allergic reaction (eg, severe rash, hives, trouble breathing, growths in the nose, dizziness) to aspirin or an NSAID (eg, ibuprofen, celecoxib)
you have recently had or will be having bypass heart surgery
you are in the last 3 months of pregnancy

Missed Dose
Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one.

Uses
Flurbiprofen (Ansaid) is used to relieve some symptoms caused by arthritis (rheumatism) such as inflammation, swelling, stiffness, and joint pain.

Store at room temperature between 20-25 degrees C / 66-77 degrees F.

Precautions
If you are taking flurbiprofen, inform your doctor and pharmacist if you suffer from any on the conditions mentioned below:
ulcerative colitis
stomach or intestinal ulcers
pregnant or trying to get pregnant
nasal polyps
liver disease
kidney disease
if you are on a special diet, such as a low-salt diet
high blood pressure
heart or circulation problems
drink more than 3 alcohol-containing beverages a day
dental disease
cigarette smoker
breast-feeding
bleeding problems
asthma
anemia
an unusual or allergic reaction to aspirin, other salicylates, other NSAIDs, foods, dyes or preservatives
