Isordil is a vasodilator.

Take Isordil exactly as directed.

If they continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor. Side effects that may go away during treatment include:

dizziness
fainting when sitting up or standing
fast heartbeat
flushing of your face and neck
frequent or continuing chest pain
headache
light headedness
nausea
vomiting

If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.

Tell your health care provider if you are taking any other medicines, in any other form.

Inform your health care professional is you have any allergies.

If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

FOR MEN: DO NOT TAKE VIAGRA (sildenafil) while using Isordil.

FOR WOMEN: IF YOU PLAN ON BECOMING PREGNANT, discuss with your doctor the benefits and risks of using Isordil during pregnancy.

Do not take 2 doses at once to make up for a missed dose.

Isordil is used to prevent angina.

Isordil also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.

Store this medicine at room temperature in a tightly-closed container, away from heat and light.

Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you have any medical conditions, especially if any of the following apply to you:

if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or are breast-feeding

if you are taking any prescription or nonprescription medicine, herbal preparation, or dietary supplement

if you have allergies to medicines, foods, or other substances

if you drink alcohol or alcohol containing beverages
