How to use
Take Cardura tablet by mouth, swallowed whole with a glass of water.
Doxazosin tablet may be taken with or without food.
Consult your health care professional and take exactly as directed.

Side Effects
If you notice any of the symptoms listed below contact your health care professional immediately. Also mention any other symptoms which maybe severe/persistent.
Dry Mouth
Irregular Heartbeat
Spells of Dizziness
Nausea
Fainting
Abnormal Vision
Painful erection of the penis that lasts for hours

Drug Interaction
Inform your health care professional if you are allergic to the formulation of this medicine or are allergic to any other medicine in any other form.
Inform your health care professional of any other medication that you may be taking for the same condition or any other prescription or non prescription drugs.

Over Dose
In case of overdose, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911.

Notes
Your doctor may recommend a low sodium or low salt diet.
Please consult your doctor about the dietary precautions necessary.

Missed Dose
Do not double doses to make up for a missed dose and if you have missed more than two doses inform your doctor about it.

Uses
Doxazosin is used to treat high blood pressure/hypertension.
Doxazosin helps the blood vessels to relax so blood flow is easier.
Doxazosin is not a cure for High BP.

Other Uses
Doxazosin can also be used to treat symptoms of enlarged prostrate.

Storage
Store at room temperature between 15-30 degreec C / 59-86 degrees F.

Precaution
Inform your doctor you are taking this medication if you are going in for any kind of surgery.
