How to use
Consult a paediatrician for the use of Azelastine (Optivar) Drops in children.
Wash your hand before and after every use.
Use Azelastine (Optivar) Drops exactly as directed by your health care professional.
Stop using Azelastine (Optivar) Drops if your eyes get inflamed or painful or you notice any discharge and contact your health care professional.

Side Effects
If you notice any of the symptoms listed below or any other symptoms which seem severe/persistent contact your doctor immediately.
Bitter taste
Blurry vision
Burning/stinging eye(s)
Eye pain
Fatigue
Headache
Skin rash/hives/itching
Swelling of the lips/tongue/face

Drug Interaction
There are no known drug reactions with Azelastine (Optivar) Drops.
Inform your doctor if you are allergic to the formulation of this medication or any other medication in any other form.
Also inform your doctor about any other medication you may be taking in any other form.

Over Dose
In case of overdose, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911.

Notes
Inform your doctor if you have or have ever had any other medical problems or wear contact lenses.

Missed Dose
Do not double doses to make up for a missed dose.

Uses
Azelastine (Optivar) Drops are used in the treatment of itching eyes caused by allergies.
Azelastine (Optivar) Drops are not to be used to treat redness/irritation caused due to wearing contact lenses.

Storage
Store at room temperature between 36 to 77 degrees F / 2 to 25 degrees C, away from heat and moisture.

Precaution
Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, breast feeding or planning to conceive.
If you conceive whilst using Azelastine (Optivar) Drops inform your doctor immediately.
If you need to undergo any kind of surgery, inform your doctor you are using Azelastine (Optivar) Drops.
