Women who use Yasmin should not smoke.

Cigarette smoking increases the risk of serious heart problems associated with use of Yasmin.

Women who are older than 35 years old have a greater risk.

Yasmin belongs to a class of medicines known as oral contraceptives.

Use Yasmin exactly as directed.

In case of overdose, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911.

depression
fibroids
gallbladder disease
heart/circulation problems
high blood pressure
unusual vaginal bleeding that has not been evaluated by a health care professional
kidney disease
liver disease
menstrual problems
migraine headaches
jaundice
cancer of the breast/cervix/ovary/uterus/vagina
high potassium level
stroke
tobacco smoker
adrenal gland disease
blood clots
systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE)
blood sugar problems

Do not double doses to make up for a missed dose. Consult your health care professional about your missed dose.

Yasmin is used to prevent pregnancy.

Store at room temperature between 15-30 degrees C / 59-86 degrees F, away from heat and moisture.

If you conceive whilst on a course with this medication inform your doctor immediately.

If you need to undergo any kind of surgery, inform your doctor you are taking this medicine.

Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, breast feeding or planning to conceive.

Avoid alcohol and alcohol containing beverages whilst on a course with this medication.
