Use Doxycycline (Vibramycin) as directed by your doctor.

Side Effects
If any of the following side effects continue or are bothersome inform your health care professional immediately and if you notice any other unusal symptoms:
Dark yellow or brown urine
Hives
Itching
Itching in the rectal or genital area
Pain on swallowing
Puffiness or swelling of the eyelids(around the eyes)
Tingling or numbness of the hands or feet

Drug Interaction
Inform your health care professional if you are allergic to Doxycycline (Vibramycin) and or any other medication. Also inform your doctor if you are taking any other medication of any nature.
Antacids
Anticoagulant therapy
Barbiturate medication
Calcium salts
Carbamazepine
Cholestyramine
Colestipol
Digoxin
Methoxyflurane
Oral contraceptives
Penicillins

Over Dose
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

Notes
Doxycycline (Vibramycin) should not be given to infants or children 8 years of age & younger unless directed by your doctor.
Make sure your diet includes plenty of Vitamin B.
Drink plenty of fluids.

Missed Dose
Do not double doses to make up for a missed dose.

Uses
Doxycycline (Vibramycin) is used to treat infections and to help control acne.

Other Uses
Doxycycline (Vibramycin) also may be used for other problems as determined by your doctor.

Storage
Store Doxycycline (Vibramycin) at room temperature approximately 25 degrees C / 77 degrees F.
Protect from light.

Precaution
Birth Control containing Estrogen may not work properly if you take them while you are taking Doxycycline (Vibramycin).
If you are being treated for a STD, avoid sexual contact until you have finished your treatment with Doxycycline (Vibramycin).
