How to use
Gentamicin Sulfate Topical Cream : This cream is for external use only. Wash your hands before and after each use. Use as directed by your health care professional. Cover with a thin gauze if necessary.
Gentamicin Sulfate Eye Drops : Use as directed by your health care professional/pharmacist. Make sure not to contaminate the dropper, by touching the tip.

Side Effects
If you notice any of the symptoms listed below or any other symptoms which seem severe/persistent contact your doctor immediately.
Difficulty hearing
Muscle weakness
Loss of balance
Increased thirst
Dizziness
Nausea
Pain/difficulty whilst passing urine
Ringing in the ears

Drug Interaction
Inform your doctor if you are allergic to the formulation of this medication or any other medication in any other form.
Inform your doctor about any other medication you may be taking in any other form.

Over Dose
In case of overdose, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911.

Notes
Contact your paediatrician regarding the use of this medicine in children.
If you conceive whilst on a course with this medication inform your doctor immediately.
Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, breast feeding or planning to conceive.

Missed Dose
Do not double dose(s)/application(s) to make up for a missed dose. Consult your health care professional about your missed dose(s)/application(s).

Gentamicin works by slowing/killing certain infection causing bacteria.

Storage
Store in a cool dry place, away from heat and light.

Precaution
Do not treat yourself with OTC medication for skin/eyes whilst on a course with this medication, without consulting with your health care professional.
If you experience blurred vision or a burning or stinging sensation whilst using the drops, consult your health care professional immediately.
If you notice persistent skin irritation which is bothersome whilst using the cream inform your health care professional.
