How to use
Floxin can be taken with/without food.
These tablets are usually swallowed whole with a full glass of water.
Contact your pediatrician regarding the use of this medicine in children.

Side Effects
If you experience any of the symptoms listed below or, any other symptoms which are severe call your doctor immediately:
Difficulty falling asleep/staying asleep
Itching
Vision changes
Hives
Vaginal infection
Pale/dark stools
Blood in urine
Difficulty breathing/swallowing
Seizures/convulsions

Drug Interaction
Inform your health care professional if you are allergic to cefixime.
Inform your health care professional if you are allergic to any other drug.
Anticoagulants
Vitamins
Theophylline
Sucralfate
Probenecid
Diabetes medication
Cyclosporine
Cancer chemotherapy agents
Antibiotics
Cimetidine
Keep your health care professional informed about any other medication that you may be taking in any other form.

Over Dose
In case of overdose, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911.

Notes
Inform your doctor if you have or have ever had :
Arteriosclerosis
Heart disease
Long exposure to sunlight
Seizures/convulsions
Stomach problems (especially colitis)
Other chronic conditions
Stroke
Tendon/joint pain
Dehydration
Liver/kidney disease

Missed Dose
Do not take a double doses to make up for a missed dose.

Uses
Ofloxacin is used in the treatment of certain bacterial infections such as pneumonia, bronchitis, veneral disease, prostate, skin & urinary Tract Infections(UTIs).

Storage
Store at a temperature below 30 degrees C / 85 degrees F.

Precaution
Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, breast feeding or planning to conceive.
If you conceive whilst on a course with this medication inform your doctor immediately.
If you need to undergo any kind of surgery, inform your doctor you are taking this medicine.
Iron, antacids and zinc preparations can also stop ofloxacin from working properly.
Inform your health care professional if you are a diabetic, annd monitor your blood glucose levels closely.
Drink lots of water whilst on a course with this medication and avoid caffeine containing drinks.
