How to use
Colchicine is taken orally (by mouth).
Swallow whole with a glass of water.
Consult your doctor on any special dietary instructions.
Take exactly as directed.

Drug Interaction
Inform your doctor if you are allergic to the formulation of this medication or any other medication in any other form.
Alcohol
Anti Inflammatory Drugs
Clarithromycin
Cyanocobalamin
Cyclosporine
Erythromycin
NSAIDs
Vitamin B12

Over Dose
In case of overdose, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911.

Notes
Contact a pediatrician for the use of this medicine in children.
Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, breast feeding or planning to concieve.
If you concieve whilst on a course with this medication inform your doctor immediately.
If you need to undergo any kind of surgery, inform your doctor you are taking this medicine.

Missed Dose
Do not double doses to make up for a missed dose.

Uses
Colchicine treats painful swelling due to gouty arthiritis & is also used regularly to prevent gout/gouty arthiritis attacks.
