How to use
Consult a paediatrician for the use of Temozolomide (Temodar) in children.
This medicine is swallowed whole with a glass of water.
Take exactly as directed.
Consult your doctor if you need to follow any specific dietary programme.
If the capsule is damaged or split, be careful not to inahle the contents of the same and dispose the same.

Side Effects
If you notice any of the symptoms listed below or any other symptoms which seem severe/persistent contact your doctor immediately.
•abnormal coordination
•abnormal walking or difficulty walking
•low blood counts - temozolomide may decrease the number of white blood cells, red blood cells and platelets. You may be at increased risk for infections and bleeding.
•signs of infection - fever or chills, cough, sore throat, pain or difficulty passing urine
•signs of decreased platelets or bleeding - bruising, pinpoint red spots on the skin, black, tarry stools, blood in the urine
•signs of decreased red blood cells - unusual weakness or tiredness, fainting spells, lightheadedness
•nausea and vomiting
•paralysis of legs or arms
•skin rash
•seizures
•vision changes

Drug Interaction
Inform your doctor if you are allergic to the formulation of this medication or any other medication in any other form.
•aspirin
•acetaminophen
•ibuprofen
•ketoprofen
•naproxen
Inform your doctor about any other medication you may be taking in any other form.

Over Dose
In case of overdose, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911.

Missed Dose
Do not double doses to make up for a missed dose. However, if you miss a dose entirely contact your doctor immediately.

Uses
Temozolomide (Temodar) medicine is a chemotherapy agent used in treatment of certain types of Melanoma and Brain Cancer.

Storage
Store at room temperature between 59-85°F, away from heat and moisture.

Precaution
Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, breast feeding or planning to conceive.
Avoid breast feeding whilst on a course with Temozolomide (Temodar) as it may harm the baby.
If you conceive whilst on a course with this Temozolomide (Temodar) inform your doctor immediately.
Temozolomide (Temodar) may harm the fetus, use effective modes of birth control whilst on a course with this medication. Consult your doctor about the same.
If you need to undergo any kind of surgery, inform your doctor you are taking Temozolomide (Temodar).
Do not go in for any kind of vaccinations whilst on a course with Temozolomide (Temodar).
