How to use
Take FEXOFENADINE (Allegra) capsules by mouth, with a sip of water.
FEXOFENADINE (Allegra) maybe taken with food.
Contact your pediatrician for the use of FEXOFENADINE (Allegra) in children.

Side Effects
Your health care professional needs to know if you have any of these conditions:
menstrual changes
stomach upset, nausea, vomiting
tiredness or drowsiness

Drug Interaction
Inform your heath care professional if you have:
any unusual or allergic reaction to fexofenadine, terfenadine, other medicines, foods, dyes, or preservatives
antacids
eythromycin
grapefruit, apple, or orange juice
ketoconazole
rifampin
St. John's Wort
alcohol
barbiturate medicines for inducing sleep or treating seizures
medicines for anxiety or sleeping problems
medicines for hay fever and other allergies
medicines for mental depression
medicines for mental problems,
anxieties and psychotic disturbances
medicines for pain such as opiate analgesics

Over Dose
In case of overdose, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911.

Notes
FEXOFENADINE (Allegra) causes less drowsiness than most other antihistamines.
Tell your prescriber or health care professional if your symptoms do not improve in 1 or 2 days.

Missed Dose
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you can. If it is almost time for your next dose, take only that dose. Do not take double or extra doses

Uses
FEXOFENADINE (Allegra) reduces allergy symptoms of hay fever and may reduce itching of the skin in those people with chronic itchy skin rashes.
FEXOFENADINE (Allegra) works by blocking histamine, a substance in the body that causes allergic symptoms.

Storage
Store at room temperature between 20 and 25 degrees C / 68 and 77 degrees F.
