Benzac AC(BENZOYL PEROXIDE) is a keratolytic agent with antibacterial actions used to treat acne.

Use as directed by your prescriber.

If you notice severe irritation/swelling of the skin, contact your prescriber immediately.

Any symptoms that appear severe/persistent contact your prescriber immediately.

Inform your prescriber if you are allergic to this medication or its formulation or any other medication in any other form.

Inform your prescriber if you suffer from any other skin condition(s) or are being treated for whilst starting with this medication.

In case of overdose, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911.

Do not use any OTC medication or skin products without consulting your doctor first.

This medicine may increase skin sensitivity to sunlight. Take adequate precautions for the same.

Do not apply double doses to make up for a missed application.

Benzac AC is used as treatment for acne.

Store in a cool dry place, away from heat. Do not freeze.

Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breast feeding.

Treatment with Benzac AC may cause the condition to worsen in the beginning before it starts to get better.

If the acne does not improve in 4 weeks, consult your doctor about the same.

Do not wash areas of application for at least an hour after the application.
